We were tasked with discussing various cost options after receiving multiple high value quotes from different sites within the Peter Cooper Motor Group (PCMG).

After conducting a thorough review of the Hedge End, Portsmouth, Chichester and Southampton sites, it became evident that by combining our efforts we could offer a significant cost saving combined.

Volkswagen dealership’s are obligated to comply with VW’s requirements and stay at the forefront of technology. As a minimum, the installation of a standard set of EV chargers is necessary.

The PCMG team proactively took the lead and immediately implemented our proposal. Consequently, each site is now equipped with 11Kw infrastructure, enabling them to offer ‘Fast charge’ capabilities. Additionally, the workshops have been equipped with 25Kw DC ‘Rapid charge’ units.

These advancements ensure that these guys are well-prepared for the government’s plans to achieve carbon neutrality in the motor industry by 2030.
